Las Vegas Raiders Star ‘Would Not Be Surprised’ If Tom Brady Joins Team In 2023

Will he, or won’t he?

That’s the question that still seems to hang around retired NFL superstar quarterback Tom Brady.

When Brady retired the first time, following the 2021 season, it took just under two months for him to return to the game.

This time, however, he appears settled with his decision.

“I’m certain I’m not playing again,” the 45-year-old recently told Sports Illustrated’s Robin Lundberg.

Brady is hanging around the league, however. He recently purchased a small stake in the Las Vegas Raiders and expressed his excitement over the move.

“This is something that I’m interested in doing for the rest of my life. This is not something that I’m into it for a year or two years,” Brady said. “You know, I’ve got a lot of responsibility with my Fox job, which I take very seriously. But if I’m looking over the course of my life, to have the opportunity to be involved in the NFL is a dream come true. And if I could help the NFL and continue to contribute in a positive way, then you know, that’s been a very enjoyable part of my life.”

That’s led Raiders star defensive end Maxx Crosby to posit that Brady could yet see the field again.

“Yeah, the possibility (of Brady returning), obviously we got Jimmy G. He’s coming back. He’s gonna be healthy. But you know, you never know what’s going to happen,” Crosby recently told Bills star Von Miller on his Voncast.. “Tom Brady’s a competitor. The greatest of all time. At the absolute worst, if everything doesn’t go the way it’s supposed to and we need him, I would not be surprised if Tom Brady shows up in a Raiders jersey.”

Look, is Tom Brady ever going to play in the NFL again? Probably not!

BUT!

The fact that Crosby thinks it’s even a possibility is certainly interesting.
