The storyline surrounding Jordon Hudson, the 24-year-old girlfriend of North Carolina football coach Bill Belichick, has grown over the last few days. The off-field drama is becoming a major distraction for the Tar Heels.

On Thursday, General Manager Michael Lombardi was asked for some clarity as to her role with the program. Rather than explain exactly what it is that she’s been doing behind the scenes, he skirted the question.

Hudson’s presence in Chapel Hill has been over-the-top since Belichick’s arrival to campus. She’s included on all email communications regarding the team, some of which she’s shared publicly with her social media following. She was heavily involved in the Tar Heels’ spring practices.

She claims to be the COO of Belichick Productions, a company that doesn’t appear to exist. She was reportedly a major factor in the Tar Heels’ decision to scrap an HBO Hard Knocks docuseries.

She is not employed by the University of North Carolina. Much of what she’s doing seems to have come at the direction of Bill Belichick. It would appear that her role involves some sort of PR, marketing, or video production. To this point, though, no one truly knows her professional expertise.

Some around the program have become worried with her involvement in the team. Those feelings became amplified following a tense interview with CBS.

Kirk Minihane of Barstool Sports tried to get some clarity on the situation this week. He reached out to Michael Lombardi during a recent show segment. The GM refused to open up.

Lombardi skirted the question, though he did note that she’s NOT involved in football recruiting. That’s a relief to the Tar Heels who are hoping football success under their new head coach outweighs the off-field drama.

BroBible also reached out to the university for comment on Jordon Hudson’s role. They, too, refused to clarify.

Hudson seems to have her hand in a number of different areas. Outside of leading Belichick Productions, she’s filed Belichick-related trademarks under another company, Trouble Cub Enterprises. She’s also taken up an interest in real estate, reportedly amassing an $8 million portfolio within months of meeting Bill Belichick.

Hudson’s involvement has led some to suggest UNC fire its head coach after just four months. Others are simply concerned with what’s been seen since the start of the relationship.

Despite her notable presence with the team, there are still questions surrounding her actual role. To this point, we haven’t gotten many answers.
