The knuckleheads over at Ohio State and the wise guys over at Michigan do not care for each other much.
Ohio State thinks their educational institution coupled with its uniformed men playing sports vast exceeds that of its Big Ten counterparts, and vice versa. If you’ve known anyone to attend either of these schools, you’d know that all of the personality traits you’ve grown up to appreciate them for have entirely vanished in favor of School Pride. Being a fan is a full-time job, and if that means calling a stranger a “cunt” on the internet over the word “the,” then so be it.
I mean seriously, look at how stupid these people look.
In any event, It was reported this week that THE Insufferable Ohio State University has filed a trademark application on the word “THE.”
JUST IN: The Ohio State University has filed for a trademark application to the word “THE” with an intent to use on shirts and hats. First discovered by @JoshGerben. pic.twitter.com/hdN4AIdvOt

The word means so much to officials and fans of Ohio State because it distinguishes them from schools like Oregon State and Oklahoma State University with the same acronyms and also to show other colleges which institution was supposed to be the leader in the state, in size and financial support from government.
It’s stupid, and the University of Michigan was ready to pounce.

Clever troll. A-.
I would have rounded out to an A if Ohio State hasn’t bent Michigan over and made them bite on a gag ball for the past decade. This dominance was immediately brought to the attention of anyone who found the troll amusing.

I don’t know why, but this story made me think of this scene in Dumb & Dumber and I almost peed.
