Nathaniel Hackett was brought in as the head coach of the Denver Broncos to take the franchise to the next level. The former Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator was allegedly hired to help attract Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers to Denver.
But, Aaron Rodgers was not the quarterback he would get to be the starter. Instead, the Denver Broncos went out and traded for Russell Wilson.
But, things got off to a terrible start for Hackett. The Broncos lost to the Seattle Seahawks week one after he made some terrible coaching decisions.
Denver won their next two games, to go to 2-1, but more puzzling decisions by Nathaniel Hackett didn’t dissipate questions about his job performance.
And, the team lost nine of their next eleven games to bring their record to 4-10 heading into a meaningless Christmas day matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.
But, what happened on Sunday was the most embarrassing moment for the team yet.
Nathaniel Hackett is sure to get fired after the Broncos lost 51-14 on Christmas Day
On the back of two terrible early Russell Wilson interceptions, Denver fell behind quickly and never recovered, losing 51-14 in an utterly humiliating loss.
They even got clowned by Patrick Star from SpongeBob SquarePants.

And, Twitter is ablaze with people that cannot believe how Hackett still has a job.
After the Broncos' loss to the Seahawks in Week 1 they made a big deal of how Nathaniel Hackett hired an assistant just to help him with in-game decisions and absolutely nothing about Hackett's coaching has improved.

I’d be mildly surprised if he got through Boxing Day while still employed. At least he will get a nice severance package for the holidays!
