As a result, we have seen a lot more wild wagers pay off, including another one this week when a NBA bettor turned $10 into $100,000 in a most unlikely way.
The chances of winning a 5-leg first basket parlay are somewhere between slim and none. That didn’t stop one gambler from giving it a shot anyway.
With odds of +1000250, one NBA bettor was able to turn $10 into $100,000
Thanks to picking Anthony Davis, Jayson Tatum, Dejounte Murray, Kristaps Porzingis and Jusuf Nurkic all to score first in their respective games, this gambler got a nice little 10,000 percent return on his investment.
Can you imagine what was going through this person’s mind after hitting on the fourth one? Talk about intense.
OH. MY. GOD.
$10 into $100K on a first basket parlay 🤯 🤯 🤯

As I mentioned, Louisiana is one of the state’s that is about to make sports betting legal.
Considering that New Orleans is part of the state, it’s almost hard to believe this hasn’t happened yet, but it is definitely coming in 56 of the state’s 64 parishes. Cities in those parishes include places like New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Shreveport.
The best part might, however, might be the fact that, unlike my state of Illinois, Louisiana isn’t being stupid and requiring people to enroll at a casino or other physical retail sports betting locations.
