NFL bettors had an absolutely brutal weekend, going 0-8 on the most popular against the spread picks in Week 7. Vegas cleaned up thanks to a handful of upsets and some poor performances from trendy underdogs.
Despite facing opponents like the Bears, Broncos, Falcons, and Patriots, the teams saw little to no success on the field. Many upset gamblers are now demanding an investigation be opened up following the winless weekend.
The most bet upon teams included five favorites and a pair of popular road ‘dogs. The two largest favorites were the 49ers and Bills, each of whom were favored by a touchdown or more.
Not only did both fail to cover the spread, but they lost outright.
The other three favorites were the Browns, the Bucs, the Rams and the Raiders. Of that bunch, only Cleveland won outright after being gifted a one-point win against the Colts.
The underdogs (Lions and Packers) didn’t fare any better, going o-2 with losses to the Ravens and Broncos.
All in all, those most bet upon teams went 0-8 against the spread and just 1-7 outright.

NFL bettors quickly responded to the painful result.
“NFL is rigged! This is insane if we’re being honest.”
“The sportsbook is at 5 stars on GTA after this weekend’s mafia level tampering.”
“The fixers are out again.”
“NFL is scripted, this is obvious.”
It was a tough weekend for the public but there’s a chance to get it back this Sunday.
