Week 4 of the NFL is nearly wrapped up and it’s time to take a look at who the biggest winners and losers of the gambling world were over the weekend.

All that’s left is Monday Night Football with the Raiders vs. Chargers, and there’s sure to be some gamblers chasing after weekend losses. There was 10x more money being wagered on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. the Patriots in the Sunday Night Football matchup. But the Pats did cover the spread so that money was changing all sorts of hands while the books were pretty exposed before that game.

David Purdum at ESPN’s Chalk does a great job of rounding up the biggest bets from each football weekend, NFL and College Football. Here are some of the biggest bets taken at Caeser’s for Sunday’s slate of NFL games (via Chalk):

  • $500,000 on Seahawks money line (+130) (Win)
  • $500,000 on Patriots +7
  • $500,000 on Bears -3 (even) (Win)
  • $500,000 on Bills -16.5 (Win)
  • $330,000 on Lions +3 (Loss)
  • $300,000 on Cardinals +6 (Win)
  • $315,000 on Vikings (-105) first half (Loss)
  • $300,000 on Jets +7 (-120) (Win)

Elsewhere, a bettor in New Jersey played a $5,000 parlay on the Jets and Giants money-line that paid out $51,425.

Brady finished with 269 yards in the game so the books kept raking in the cash.

Here’s what it looked like at Caesars when the Pats missed that field goal.

There are certain to be some big-ticket bets tonight for Monday Night Football. I’ll be sure to update this article tomorrow as we see tweets of Monday’s biggest bets. And if you want to make my life even easier, you can tag me on Twitter (and follow) at @casspa so I can include those tweets here.

I was flying back from Palm Springs last night and only caught the second half of the Buccaneers-Patriots game and didn’t have a chance to place any bets. I’m a born-and-raised Buccaneers fan so I’m glad we got the W. I am concerned about our inability to score TDs whenever we want without Rob Gronkowski out there. Hopefully his broken ribs will heal miraculously fast.
