Nikola Jokic Vows To ‘F Up’ Ex-Teammate Bol Bol After Getting Posterized

2-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic is once again leading the NBA’s MVP race.

Nikola Jokic is currently averaging 24.7 ppg, 10.9 rebounds per game, and 9.8 assists per game. None of that stopped Jokic from getting posterized by his former teammate Bol Bol, a moment that wounded the Serbian’s ego.

In the 4th quarter, the Orlando Magic trailed Jokic’s Denver Nuggets by 1 point in a 103-104 game. Then Bol Bol, son of Manute Bol and former teammate of Jokic, came charging down the lane and dunked over the reigning back-to-back MVP:

The Denver Nuggets recollected and pulled out a 119-116 win. Jokic had 17 points, 14 assists, and 10 rebounds. Then after the game, Nikola Jokic was asked about Bol Bol’s dunk…

Jokic said he would ‘f up’ Bol Bol if he did it again:

To be fair, it does appear as if Jokic is joking. Or maybe that’s because reporters in the room are laughing at Nikola gesticulating that he’d ‘f up’ Bol Bol for dunking over him.

The two were teammates in Denver for three seasons before Bol Bol joined the Magic on a 2-year contract worth $4,400,000. Bol Bol struggled to ever find momentum with Denver, averaging between 2.2 and 5.7 points/game and between 5-12 minutes/game. The times have changed.

Bol Bol and the Magic face Nikola Jokic again on February 9th. This time the game is in Orlando. While Jokic’s comments don’t seem serious it will still be worth watching to see if anything comes of this in the future.
