Odell Beckham Jr. really wanted to play for the Green Packers but the team blew it.
Before he signed with the Rams, there were reports that Green Bay was Beckham’s preferred destination, but the team wasn’t “aggressive” in pursuing the free-agent wide receiver.
Per source, at this point in time, Odell Beckham Jr. still would prefer to sign with the #Packers. However, Green Bay’s front office has not been as aggressive as others. They do have interest though. If they come through with competitive offer, Beckham will likely sign with GB.

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Beckham chose the Rams over the Packers in free agency because he felt Green Bay hadn’t gone all out to sign him.
Sources: Odell’s final 2 teams came down to the #Rams and #Packers (who remained his preferred destination). Not once did OBJ feel like GB was all-in. On the flip side, he spoke w/Sean McVay, who was able to creatively detail the multitude of ways he’d maximize OBJ’s talents. https://t.co/NEzQNqAJsp

Sources: Beckham spoke w/several #Rams players, who not only recruited him, but just as imp, vouched for the org as a whole. I’ve been told since last week OBJ’s top priority is to win a ring. Also, Von Miller’s his guy and #Beckham loved how aggressive LA was in trading for him.

Apparently, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur was interested in bringing in Beckham, but the front office didn’t want to offer more than the vet minimum.
🚨 This Just In: #Packers front office is the main reason why they failed to land Odell Beckham, Jr., per sources. I’m told HC Matt LaFleur wanted OBJ, believing his acquisition would be both seamless/positive for GB offense. FO lowballed Beckham, while the #Rams believed in him. https://t.co/szY3f6Yffq

Sources say #Packers front office never really bought into OBJ, causing him to feel disrespected. Had they changed their stance and come up even a little bit from the vet min offer, Odell Beckham is a Green Bay Packer today – preparing to face the #Seahawks at Lambeau. https://t.co/MzortRcKmE

#Packers foolishly only offered Odell Beckham the vet minimum. #Rams blew that out of the water with a deal loaded in incentives – but also with more guaranteed money – totaling $4.25M. It’s a win-win and a monster move for an already stacked offense. https://t.co/szY3f6Yffq

Packers fans weren’t happy with the fact that the front office didn’t strongly pursue Beckham in free agency.
Packers FO has continuously shown that they don’t want to win. This was a no-brainer. Adams/OBJ/Jones with Aaron Rodgers would’ve been special. https://t.co/DqsZ1mgwSS

im not even trying to hate, but sometimes i genuinely don’t know what tf is going on and why the packers organization seems to purposely be incompetent https://t.co/l8UeQPjxfp

Launch this front office into the sun. https://t.co/Q4jciDfaqU

This is just disappointing as a Packers fan. I've never seen an organization so content with losing in the playoffs year after year https://t.co/pkMCdLJ2B2

Packers are a poverty franchise that would be no where without Aaron Rodgers and yet they insists on not giving that man shit to win with. I for one am sick of it. https://t.co/TCZBr1JI8T
