For months, fans speculated as to who popular LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne was referring to when she said she was crushing on someone in her TikTok videos.
Everyone from Joe Burrow (they share the same agent) to Morgan Wallen (she’s a big, big fan) were suspected to be dating the social media influencer.
This was especially true after Dunne shared a TikTok video referring to her “obsession” with … someone, in February and again in March.
However, eagle-eyed fans couldn’t help but notice that Livvy attended several LSU baseball games and hinted in some of her TikTok videos that her crush either plays or played baseball (Morgan Wallen played baseball, and he was pretty good!).
Then, after Olivia Dunne showed up to watch Paul Skenes make his Single-A debut for the Pittsburgh Pirates, then appeared in her own suite at his next game, the mystery was beginning to become unraveled.
A couple of days later, Paul Skenes confirmed his relationship with Livvy Dunne after the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette wrote, “…the prized pitching prospect is probably only the second-most popular person in his current relationship. His girlfriend, LSU gymnast and social media sensation Livvy Dunne, has 12 million followers on TikTok and Instagram combined.”
“It’s nice, for sure,” Skenes told the Post-Gazette. “It can be a pain in the butt sometimes, to be honest, in terms of actually going somewhere. If one of us went out in Baton Rouge by ourselves, there’s probably gonna be someone there asking for something — picture, autograph, whatever.
“It’s nice to be able to have that conversation. She does get it. I do wish she could come to a baseball game and just enjoy it. It does irk me. I don’t have any control over it. She really doesn’t either. I’m sure it’ll get better as I go up levels, but that’s something I want for her.”
Despite the admission, the couple still had not been photographed together for weeks… until this past weekend.
“Back in the boot!” Paul Skenes wrote in the caption to a photo of himself with Dunne at the LSU football game.
“My 💛!” Dunne wrote in the comments.
Of course, Livvy being Livvy, she couldn’t let the occasion pass without a TikTok video that quickly went viral.
