Earlier this week Aaron Rodgers said he spent his 35th birthday with his parents. Why was this news? Because, according to all reports, Rodgers and his family have not really spoken over the past four years. In fact, the animosity was so bad that Rodgers reportedly didn’t even attend his grandfather’s funeral.
That family drama came to a head when Aaron’s brother Jordan ripped him on social media for urging his Twitter followers to donate money and spread awareness for California wildfire victims, but never checking in on his own parents who had to deal with the fires as well.
Part of the reason for all the hard feelings between Rodgers and his family reportedly stemmed from the relationship with his former girlfriend Olivia Munn.
One report said, “When he got together with Olivia Munn, his family told him they didn’t trust her and thought she wasn’t with him for the right reasons. That made him furious, and he ended up choosing Olivia over his family.”
Another report stated that Munn took satisfaction in him defending her to his family and made no effort to push Rodgers to reconcile.
So, being a very big part of Rodgers’ family drama, it was only natural for someone to ask her what she tought of his reported reunion with his parents. That someone turned out to be TMZ.
“Oh my gosh, well, if that’s true, it’s amazing,” Munn told TMZ on Thursday. “It’s long overdue.”
Damn. I miss Olivia Munn being Aaron Rodgers’ pretend girlfriend. She’s way much more fun than Danica Patrick.
