For the first time since 2007, the Green Bay Packers will head into the season with somebody other than Aaron Rodgers set to be the team’s starting quarterback.

Next season, it will be Jordan Love taking over under center for the Packers 3 years after the organization drafted him.

It is expected to be a huge change for the Packers and has led many to wonder just what the team is going to look like in 2023 after disappointingly finishing with an 8-9 record last season and missing the playoffs.

According to one of their wide receivers, we shouldn’t expect things to actually change all that much in Green Bay.

During an interview with Spectrum News 1’s Dennis Krause, 2nd year receiver Romeo Doubs claimed that he doesn’t see what the big difference is between between Rodgers and Love.

“I think Jordan is a really good quarterback,” Doubs said. “When you go from Aaron Rodgers to Jordan, Aaron was a really great quarterback, but I believe Jordan can do the same exact thing. So I don’t really see what’s the big difference.”

It’s a bold statement to make when your franchise is transitioning from a future Hall of Famer to somebody who has attempted just 83 career passes in 3 seasons and hasn’t looked particularly impressive in that limited action.

Just how big of a difference there is between Aaron Rodgers and Jordan Love will be the biggest story of the season for the Packers.

Love is going to have to try and lead this team to success despite losing key pieces on offense during the offseason.

If he’s going to succeed in his first regular action as a starter, he will likely need Doubs to step up in a big way after he failed to live up to the training camp hype during his rookie season.

We’re only a few months away from getting to learn just ho different things are going to be for the Green Bay Packers without Aaron Rodgers.
