Like many of us, popular golf influencer Paige Spiranac is very fired up for the World Series (and for Halloween, based on her costume).
We know this thanks to a video she recently shared on social media that was much like the one she made to celebrate the start of the NFL season back in September.
In a new edition of “Basics with Paige,” Spiranac shared a some handy tips (as she often does for golf) for watching baseball including defining some of the sport’s unique vernacular.
In that video, Spiranac, who threw out the first pitch at a Brewers game this summer, defined the terms slugger, cleanup hitter, and frozen rope.
Paige also explained some of the things that all baseball viewers should be familiar with before tuning into the action.
She then went through many of the different terms that get used for a home run, including bomb, moon shot, and dinger, and what the words “bag” and “lumber” mean in baseball.
On Friday, Spiranac, showing that she is still very excited for the World Series, dropped a new set of photos.
In the pics, Paige is rocking a baseball uniform that would cause all sorts of trouble for opponents if she wore it on the playing field. Mostly because it appears that much of it is being held together by one single button. (“Struggling more than the Yankees did against the Astros,” one fan joked.)
“World Series starts tonight!” she captioned the photos on Instagram. “Who do you have winning? The Astros or Phillies?”

While Paige Spiranac has carved out a nice little internet niche for herself by golfing and making videos while wearing skimpy, tight attire.
Tennis influencer Rachel Stuhlmann is hoping to do the exact same thing, only in the racket sport.
Stuhlmann believes that she and Spiranac “have similar stories” as they both played Division I sports in college and each has been featured in Maxim.
