About a month ago, popular golf influencer Paige Spiranac posted a video of herself doing a challenge where she had 25 shots to hit a hole-in-one.

She didn’t think it would give her too much trouble. After all, she’s a pro and it was just a downhill 80-yard par three.

“Have to hit it perfect, but I think I can do it,” Spiranac said before attempting the challenge.

It didn’t go very well for her. She became visibly flustered the longer it went on and she failed to hit a hole-in-one.

So, this week she tried it again, only this time she gave herself 50 attempts on a downhill par 3 that is about 100 yards.

It turned to be a lot more of the same as after 40 shots, Paige still hadn’t hit a hole-in-one.

At that point she decided to just flat out beg the golfing gods to help her hit one.

Naturally, because internet, there were folks out there claiming she faked the shot.

Spiranac was quick to fire back.

“A bunch of comments calling my hole in one fake,” she wrote on X. “It’s real and spectacular. But jokes aside anyone in the golf industry knows our careers would be over if we ever faked a hole in one video. No one would ever be dumb enough to risk that. We take pride in showing genuine reactions. The good and bad.”

Unless Paige Spiranac is a witch who placed a pebble in the exact spot where she knew she was going to hit the ball, it seems pretty apparent that the video is real.

She would also reveal in another post that it was the fifth time she’s hit a hole-in-one and the second time she’s done it on camera.

Her other came in 2021 and just so happened to occur in front of winner of nine major championships, Gary Player.
