The New England Patriots are entering a brand new era now that former Hall of Fame head coach Bill Belichick has finally moved on.

Clearly determined to turn the page to the next chapter of the franchise’s history, the Patriots seem to be embracing a hardcore “out with the old and in with the new” approach, as they’re giving away Devante Parker jerseys for FREE at the official team store.

Parker, who played in 26 games for the Patriots across two seasons, signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles earlier in March.

Parker was originally drafted out of the University of Louisville by the Miami Dolphins with the 14th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.

His best season in the National Football League came in 2019 when he caught 72 passes for 1,202 yards and nine touchdowns, all of which remain career-high marks. Except for 2019, however, Parker has failed to top 800 receiving yards in any of his other eight professional seasons.

Other moves made by the Patriots this offseason were signing quarterback Jacoby Brissett, running back Antonio Gibson, wide receivers Jalen Reagor and K.J. Osborn, tight end Austin Hooper, and more.

Given that the Patriots will have a rookie head coach in Jerod Mayo and a quarterback room of Jacoby Brissett, Bailey Zappe, and potentially a rookie draft pick, the Patriots are shaping up to be one of the weakest teams in the conference next season.

They’re currently the overwhelming favorites to come fourth in the AFC East behind the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, and New York Jets, for example.
