Paul Wall is to grillz as George Foreman is to grills. The Houston rapper’s affinity for diamond-encrusted cosmetic dental apparatuses was commemorated in his 2005 platinum hit featuring Nelly called ‘Grillz.’  Wall loves grillz so much he’s even been operating a successful business specializing in custom grillz with partner Johnny Dang for years— the two finally opened a retail location in Houston in 2016.

The only thing the ‘Sittin Sidewayz’ rapper loves more than mouth pieces is Houston sports. A couple weeks ago, before the Houston Astros won its first World Series title in franchise history, Wall offered the entire team free grillz. Paul Wall is a man of his word.

The grillz, which each took five hours to make, are 18-carat gold and display the words “World” on top and “Champs.”

Oh, but he ain’t done. Wall further commemorated the victory by inking a massive tattoo on his lower back of The Commissioner’s Trophy.

Moral of the story: Paul Wall doesn’t fuck around.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
