As most of you are aware, the Al Jazeera news network will shut down its American operation in April due to underwhelming ratings–the same organization that accused Manning of taking HGH during his tenure with the Colts in a documentary called The Dark Side: The Secret of the Sports Dopers. The documentary claimed that Manning received shipments of a banned substance from an Indianapolis clinic that were addressed to his wife.
Peyton denied the claims, even after a former intern at an anti-aging clinic in Indianapolis named Charles Sly confirmed them, but then said he made the whole thing up. And at the end of the day, we don’t know what the fuck is going on behind the scenes.
Nonetheless, the network that caused the giant shitstorm for Manning, whether justified or not, is closing up shop in the States and Manning’s response was predictably snarky.
Peyton Manning on news Al-Jazeera America shutting down: "I'm sure that's just devastating to all their viewers." Yes, he was sarcastic.

Personally, I think it’s more than probable that a 39-year-old man recovering from three neck surgeries trying to make it back into the most physical league on the planet would take an illegal substance. Do I think any less of Manning or believe that this taints his legacy? No. I think everyone in the NFL should be able to take steroids, especially for recovery. It makes for a better product and many believe the stigma on them vastly outweighs the negative consequences–as if the NFL gives a shit about player safety to begin with.
P.S. boomroasted.
P.P.S. double boomroasted.
