
Marshall Manning, the son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning, already has college scouts’ attention. And he hasn’t even played a down of high school football yet. Heck, he isn’t even in high school yet!
That’s the sort of thing that happens when you choose to play quarterback, and your family has people like Peyton, Eli, Archie and Arch Manning in it.
Marshall Manning, who was named a “top performer” at a recent 7-on-7 football tournament, has been drawing the attention of Prep Redzone scouts.
Marshall Manning’s quarterback coach shared new video
This week, former Kentucky quarterback-turned-QB Country quarterback development trainer Reese Phillips shared a new highlight video of one of Marshall Manning’s workouts on social media.
“We can’t control the noise,” the caption on the video reads. “We can only control the work!”
According to the New York Post, Marshall Manning’s cousin Arch , Patriots’ quarterback Drake Maye, Bo Nix of the Broncos and the Colts’ Daniel Jones have all also trained with QB Country.
Manning, a member of the class of 2030, will begin playing for Baylor School in Chattanooga this fall. A report in March suggested that one college that nobody would have predicted may already have a leg up in his recruitment: the University of Virginia.
Ashley Manning, Peyton’s wife and Marshall’s mother, graduated from Virginia and is an avid supporter of the Cavaliers. Not only that, Peyton spoke at a Virginia commencement ceremony in 2014. Of course, that’s merely speculation because, as mentioned earlier, the young Manning, who recently turned 15, hasn’t even played a down of high school football yet.
