There are few athletes in the city of Philadelphia these days who are more beloved than Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown. Brown, a three-time Pro Bowler, helped lead the team to its second Super Bowl victory in franchise history in February. But even that couldn’t prevent him from having his car stolen overnight.

“Dear Philly,” Brown wrote on X. “To whoever stole my car last night, I’ll make a deal with you. … Bring back my car and I won’t press charges, or when I find you today, it’s going to be what it’s going to be. Take it or leave it my guy.”

Brown is a famously down-to-earth guy who has been seen driving a Honda Accord around the city throughout his tenure with the team. But he also recently purchased a Rolls-Royce following the Eagles’ Super Bowl victory.

“Just bring the whip back, bro,” Brown said on Instagram. “I won’t press charges. Just bring the whip back and you can go on about your day … You were smooth with it though. Pulled up at 3:42, you got up out of there at 3:45, you’re fast on your feet. I’m going to show you how fast I am on my feet. Real talk. This is about to get done today.”

Teammate C.J. Gardner-Johnson, who also had his car stolen in Philadelphia in 2023, told Brown that he just needs to move on and get another car.

“That sh-t gone my g !! They ain’t help me get mine back, just get another whip fam hat time ain’t it lol,” he posted.

Time will tell whether or not Brown gets his vehicle back. But one thing is certain, if he doesn’t, it’s not exactly a ringing endorsement of famed Eagles’ security head Big Dom.
