Post Malone’s ‘Something Real’ was announced as ESPN’s 2023 College Football anthem on Tuesday.

A press release was published on ESPN’s Media Room and it was accompanied by one of the most electric college football hype videos we’ve seen in some time.

Anyone anywhere who isn’t immediately in love with this song choice as ESPN‘s CFB Anthem needs to have their fan card revoked ASAP because they’ve lost touch with reality. ESPN + this Post Malone song + CFB works perfectly.

For anyone out there who might question why ESPN would pick this (perfect) song as their 2023 College Football anthem, let’s see what the comments on YouTube reflect and how this is being received by the general public:

“Got the chills..may the best men win for all the matchups this season”

“Man I got the chills all over and I still got the chills CAN’T WAIT GO DAWGS!”

“ITS THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN.”

While nobody is calling out Post Malone by name for writing an anthem that perfectly aligns with the passion of College Football, it’s clear that ‘Something Real’ is unanimously being welcomed as the best CFB Anthem in years.

In the ESPN Media Room press release, Post Malone said “collaborating with ESPN to use my music to get fans excited for college football is a cool feeling. ‘Something Real’ captures the emotion and passion the sport represents, and the excitement fans feel each and every week, and it only adds to me being ready for football season to get here.”
