The Purdue Boilermakers and Arkansas Razorbacks will square off in an offseason exhibition ahead of college basketball season. The game will help raise funds to aid in tornado relief in The Natural State.

Residents of Arkansas were recently struck by catastrophe when an outbreak of tornados hit the area. As the locals continue to pick up the pieces from the deadly storm, these two universities are doing their best to help in recovery efforts.

Announced Wednesday, the game will take place in Bud Walton Arena – the home of the Arkansas Razorbacks. It’s scheduled to be played a week before the season’s start on October 28th at 4 PM EST.

Lower seat tickets can be purchased for $20 while upper seats come in at $15. All proceeds will support United Way in Arkansas.

Not only will the matchup feature two of the top programs in America, but it will give fans a chance to support their teams and a good cause.

The preseason preview will include an Arkansas program fresh off of a Sweet Sixteen appearance. This coming after back-to-back trips to the Elite Eight.

Purdue, meanwhile, will return National Player of the Year Zach Edey to a squad that landed a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament last year.

After the exhibition, Arkansas and Purdue will begin their respective regular seasons. The Boilermakers will host Samford on November 6th while the Razorbacks have a game against Gardner-Webb scheduled for November 10th.
