Conspiracy Theory: Qatar World Cup Is Hiring Paid Actors To Be Fans

With the World Cup set to begin next week, the powers that be in Qatar would like you to believe that the atmosphere is currently building ahead of an epic month of international football.

And if you were to look at photos and videos from Doha, perhaps you could be convinced that the Qatar World Cup will be a rollicking good time — at least based on the amount of fun that fans seem to be already having. There, however, lies the problem: many soccer fans believe that Qatar is hiring paid actors to pretend to be fans of various nations and the evidence is rather compelling.

The potential evidence of fake fans is just the latest example of how much of a disgraceful sham this World Cup is going to be.

From players getting injured to missing the tournament to the dire state of the “fan zones”, the 2022 World Cup has been looking like more and more of a disaster as the weeks go by — and that isn’t even accounting for the thousands of workers that reportedly died constructing the stadia over the years. Even Sepp Blatter, the insanely corrupt former FIFA president, has since admitted that giving Qatar the World Cup was a mistake.

The 2022 World Cup will kick off on Sunday, November 20, and wrap up with the final on Sunday, December 18. Americans should have Friday, November 25 — the day after Thanksgiving — circled on their calendars, as the United States Men’s National Team, playing in their first World Cup since 2014, will be taking on England.
