Apparently, not everyone is on board the Ronda Rousey redemption train. Regardless of how much she has tried to explain her behavior prior to and after quitting mixed martial arts, former MMA star Quenton “Rampage” Jackson still has no time for her.

The 47-year-old former UFC light heavyweight champion said that behind the scenes, Ronda Rousey treated the UFC staff poorly and was “arrogant” towards them.

Quenton Jackson made this statement, and more, during a livestream on his Kick channel while attending the MVP press conference on Thursday in Los Angeles.

“I have never been a fan of Ronda Rousey,” said Jackson. “Too arrogant. There’s nothing wrong with believing in yourself, but there’s a fine line. I hate to say this live and stuff, but she’s never been nice to like, staff and the behind-the-scenes people… It’s like a fine line between believing in yourself and being like, overly cocky. Yeah, it’s like a fine line. In fighting, you have to be confident, you have to believe in yourself.”

Quenton ‘Rampage’ Jackson isn’t the first to say something like this about Ronda Rousey

In 2024, former WWE broadcaster Jimmy Smith told Unlocking the Cage that working with Ronda Rousey was a terrible experience for production employees.

“Ronda, if you’re listening, the people behind the scenes; camera people, audio people, the people you can push around and bully and talk down to, can’t stand your f—— a–. Everybody behind the scenes that had to put a mic on Ronda Rousey couldn’t stand her. I said, ‘Why?’ They said, ‘She was a b—- to us from the moment she sat down to the moment she got up.’ Like it’s our fault that she has to do this interview to hype something or her next fight. ‘She’s miserable, she’s mean to us, and we can’t stand her.'”

Then, in 2025, former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate claimed that Ronda Rousey was mean to camera operators and other production crew members during Season 18 of The Ultimate Fighter.
