Fans Blast The NFL For Making Them Watch Another Presumably Boring Primetime Game

NFL fans will have to watch another possibly awful primetime matchup as the Bears take on the Commanders in Thursday night action. Both teams rank near the bottom of the league in offensive production, and each enters on a multi-game losing streak.

That’s something that most could’ve predicted before the season’s start.

Nothing gets worse than last week’s “retina-burning” TNF game between the Broncos and Colts. The pitiful showing has broadcaster Al Michaels considering an early retirement.

For some reason, Denver has been in primetime contests three times this season, disappointing in each. Not surprisingly, they’ll be playing on Monday night against the Chargers.

It seems the NFL is doing this to its viewers on purpose, now.

Other primetime snoozers include games between the Bills and Titans, Vikings and Eagles, and Rams and Niners. Many have been quick to comment on the potential of another dreadful matchup this week.

Fans have been posting their reactions to the TNF contest between the Bears and Commanders.

Most are not happy.

Take a look at what folks have been saying on social media as we get closer to gametime.

One fan wrote, “NFL really giving us Commanders vs Bears like we didn’t see Colts vs Broncos last week.”

Another commented, “It truly is amazing the hold the NFL has over us. We’re all gonna watch Commanders-Bears tonight by choice.

The first team to 20 points could win, though 20 points could be generous for these offenses.

Making things worse, the Yankees-Guardians playoff game for tonight has been postponed, meaning TNF has everyone trapped.

Things have gotten so bad that sports sites are literally suggesting something, anything for fans to do instead of tune in.

Hopefully, the play on the field proves us all wrong. For those looking for a positive in tonight’s matchup, Commanders’ starting quarterback Carson Wentz has been stellar in previous TNF outings. He might go off again in Chicago.

That’s probably just wishful thinking, though.
