It’s fairly obvious that was a joke, taking a shot at the tizzy of information coming out of the organization from unnamed sources these past few weeks. Today’s latest leak basically announced before the game that Jay Gruden is planning on benching RGIII at some point. Cool. But some people missed the joke. Because this team really is so dysfunctional it wouldn’t surprise anyone if someone told something along those lines to a reporter, then requested anonymity.
Still, even if fake, it sounds like a good plan. Let’s see if they execute.
