Well, who would have ever thought that way back in 2007 when since-defunct sports website With Leather published a post about a high school track and field star named Allison Stokke under the headline “Pole Vaulting is Sexy, Barely Legal” that 12 years down the road that very same person would be married to PGA Tour bro Rickie Fowler?
But here we are. Stokke, now 30-years-old, is officially wedded to Fowler, also 30, after the couple tied the knot with a beach ceremony that no one in the media knew about at a yet-to-be disclosed location last week. What a difference 12 years makes for Stokke, huh?

The couple has been engaged since June of 2018 when they anounced their impending nuptials on social media, with Fowler writing, “Today is National Best Friend Day so I wanted to lock mine down…I WON!!”
On Friday, Fowler and Stokke did it again, each revealing photos of the momentous event on Instagram.
Stokke captioned her photos, “10.5.19….and it just keeps getting better!🍾🥂” While Fowler captioned his, “X•V last week was the best yet…she’s mine…still winning☝️.”
Actually, Fowler only won once this year, the Waste Management Phoenix Open, and… oh… I get it. Yes, yes you are winning, Rickie. And you will no longer have to worry about ever doing this again. Congrats!
