With a win over Portugal today, Iran could advance to the knockout stage for the first time in its history. At three points, Iran is behind Spain and Portugal in the stacked Group B, but the future remains in their hands. Their fan base knows this, which is precisely why they’re doing everything in their power to give Iran the edge against the best player on the planet.
A group of Iran fans congregated outside Cristiano Ronaldo’s hotel room in Russia armed with drums and vuvuzelas with the sole intention of keeping him from sleeping the night before the match. Check out the madness below.

After the group refused to back down, Ronaldo came to the window and motioned, in the nicest way possible, to shut the fuck up.

Ronaldo has four goals in two games this World Cup, second only to England’s Harry Kane. At the time of me writing this, the Portugal/Iran game starts in five minutes. Ronaldo will score no less than two goals with bags under his eyes.
