After a crushing defeat to Holly Holm back in November 2015, it took Ronda Rousey nearly a full calendar year to return to the octagon. As the heavy favorite, the former undefeated bantamweight champion admitted to spiraling into a dark place, even contemplating taking her own life. Four months after the loss, Rousey told Ellen DeGeneres: “I’m nothing, what do I do anymore and no one gives a shit about me anymore without this.”

In her highly anticipated return, Rowdy Ronda was defeated handily by Amanda Nunes in 48 seconds, prompting UFC president and Rousey’s own mother to question how much she’s got left in the tank. Many others believe Rousey’s fighting days are over, as she’s already a multi-millionaire and could seamlessly use her fame to make money elsewhere.

But on Sunday, Rousey posted a cryptic Instagram post that got her fans all hot and bothered over a possible return.

Will Rousey take another bite at the apple? Does she have the physical, mental and emotional fortitude to withstand another possible loss? Did she rip this Instagram post from a basic eight grade girl? So many questions, and at this point in time, not a lot of answers.

P.S. Too soon to this Instagram commenter.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
