New York Jets wide receiver made a recent appearance on a stream with Adin Ross, an extremely popular NBA2K streamer, and on the stream Sauce Gardner made a comment about how Jewish people ‘run the world.’

In the clip, Adin Ross was telling a story and clarifying that another Jewish person had sold him something because Ross is also Jewish. At that point, Sauce Gardner chimes in with “I’m going to be honest” which, in my experience, often precedes something that does not need to be said at all.

Sauce Gardner then continued, saying “I’m gonna be honest, like no funny weird s—. Y’all run the world.”

As the others, including Adin Ross laughed, Gardner continued, saying “They run the… Bro, they got so much motion throughout the whole world. Oh my goodness. Y’all gotta see how they be walking in the airport.” He added “with that one s— on the side of they heads, that mother f—– that’s stuck, it don’t fall off.” Presumably, he’s referring to a yarmulke here. Video of the clip has gone viral on X, formerly Twitter:

The clip was picked up by mainstream and international media outlets from the DailyMail (England) to Sportskeeda (Bangalore, India) to The Spun (US). Gardner himself is very active on X but has yet to address his comment as backlash grows from some and others defend his comments on X.

One person commented on X saying “Bro will be attending sensitivity training by morning.” Another added “Unfortunately, he’ll likely make a public apology & claim this to just be a joke.”

This also isn’t the first time that streamer Adin Ross has been attached to a story involving outlandish claims about the Jewish people. In 2022, Adin Ross was set to interview Kanye West but pulled out of the interview after Kanye reportedly told Ross “you Jews aren’t going to tell me what I can and can’t say.”
