Nebraska Football head coach is hoping to return the Cornhuskers to the National Championship conversation. Frost has seen limited success in his first five seasons of coaching at Nebraska with a 15–29 combined record but he was a force to be reckoned with when he played there.

As a player, Scott Frost quarterbacked Nebraska to a 24-2 record over two seasons including an undefeated 13-0 record and National Championship in 1997. He knows what it’s like to win at Nebraska even if that isn’t translating to success in the program right now.

I’m writing all of that to reiterate that Scott Frost was one heck of an athlete. He spent 5 years in the NFL after playing at Nebraska. With that athletic background and the fact he’s only 47-years old, surely he could beat up all of the other Big Ten coaches if he ever got into a fight with them, right? Not so fast…

As a guest on Barstool’s Bussin’ With The Boys, Scott Frost was asked which fellow Big Ten head coaches he could take in a fight. Instead of answering which ones he could beat up, Scott detailed why he would never want to fight Jim Harbaugh. Here’s his answer (video) with the full 50-minute clip below.

Bussin’ With The Boys: Of all the coaches in the Big Ten, who would you lose a fight to? If all the coaches of the Big Ten got together in kind of a free for all, who do you think you’d have the hardest time taking?

Scott Frost: Well I would hope that every coach in the league would say that they wouldn’t lose because I don’t feel like I would lose.

Bussin’ With The Boys: Who’s the coach for Michigan State? Mel Tucker? Yeah, he’d get his a** beat.

Scott Frost: Y’know, not just because you’re from Michigan. I’m just telling you, Jim (Harbaugh) was a professional athlete. And he’s a little bit crazy. I love him, he’s a little bit crazy. He just strikes you as the type of guy that wouldn’t give up no matter what, in a fight.

He’d probably enjoy that and I would too, in a friendly competitive type of way.

Bussin’ With The Boys: But you’re a lot bigger than Jim Harbaugh, aren’t you?

Scott Frost: No, he’s big. He’s my size. I’m younger than he is. But he’s a tough dude.

For anyone out there who isn’t aware, Jim Harbaugh played in the NFL for 14 years as a quarterback after being drafted by the Chicago Bears in 1987. He made the Pro Bowl in 1995 and was also named NFL Comeback Player of the Year that season. And he finished his long NFL career with a winning 129–117 record. So he is, in fact, a tough dude.

The full answer from Scott Frost is below around the 43:20 mark of the video:

I’ve never actually watched a full Bussin’ With The Boys interview before but I’m digging this Scott Frost interview so I might have to make a habit out of watching it more frequently.
