Shaq Reveals The Biggest Drawback Of Being The Massive Human Being He Is

Shaquille O’Neal is one of the most dominant centers to ever step foot on a basketball court, and he took full advantage of the weight he packed onto his 7’1″ frame to make life miserable for his opponents in his prime. However, there’s at least one downside that comes with being as large as he is based on how his size has interfered with one of his favorite hobbies.

It’s no secret Shaq did very well for himself on the financial front during his time in the NBA. The big man racked up $286 million in contract money alone during his time in the league, and he supplemented that fortune with the many endorsement deals he seemingly doesn’t have the ability to turn down.

Those earnings allowed O’Neal to purchase the massive mansion that was featured in his memorable appearance on MTV Cribs, where he gave viewers a tour of a lavish estate featuring a full-size indoor basketball gym, a custom circular bed emblazoned with the Superman logo, and an impressive fleet of luxury cars.

Shaq can certainly afford a garage that boasts Lamborghinis and Ferraris, although using those vehicles for their intended purposes is apparently easier said than done for a seven-footer who admitted he weighed over 400 pounds during his time with the Lakers.

During a recent interview with People, the man known as “Big Diesel” admitted the only time his height has caused him any major issues has been when it comes to pursuing his love of exotic vehicles, saying:

“When it comes to driving sports cars, that’s the only time.

“They’ve got these Lamborghinis and Ferraris…I used to have to buy two, shrimp them up, spend a crazy amount of money and take the convertible part off to make myself fit.

“But that’s the only time I’ve wished I was smaller, so I can get into some of these expensive sports cars.”

That really takes First-World Problems to a whole new level.
