Shaq Rips Shannon Sharpe To Shreds For Saying He’s Jealous Of Current NBA Players

Shaq is not happy with Shannon Sharpe, and the two are now beefing on social media.

Earlier this week, Shaq faced backlash from fans when he told Nikola Jokic that he believed Shai Gilgeous-Alexander should have won MVP and not him.

Sharpe commented on his podcast that he felt Shaq was jealous of Jokic and proceeded to take a shot at Shaq for not working hard throughout his career.

“Shaq sees these guys winning MVP and he gets a little envious…. Shaq’s name is never brought up in the (GOAT) discussion…we’re never going to see another guy Shaq’s size with his athleticism that was as dominant as him and he robbed himself because he didn’t take it serious enough ”

Shaq responded on Instagram by pointing out that Sharpe was not ranked in the top 50 in the NFL, disqualifying him from talking about Shaq’s legacy.

Update: Sharpe responded to Shaq’s lost Instagram rant and didn’t back down from saying he doesn’t believe Shaq “masimized’ his time in the NBA.

“Am I a top 100 player? No. What I did do was maximize that. My question for Shaq is do you believe that you gave everything you could have in basketball?”
