Shaquille O’Neal, who made tens of millions of dollars playing in the NBA, then grew that fortune even more with some very shrewd investments, has show time and time again how generous he can be with his wealth.
Once, after paying for an engagement ring that a “young kid, hardworking guy,” as Shaq put it, that was on layaway he says he told the man, “Don’t worry about it. I do it all the time.’ I’m just trying to make people smile, that’s all.”
While telling that story, Shaq added that his mission is to do a good deed every time he leaves his house.

Recently, Shaquille O’Neal once again made a lot of people smile with his generosity.
A Twitter thread posted on Monday revealed the story of how Shaq helped out Karissa Collins, her husband, and their nine children.
Shaq is using his wealth to help those less fortunate
Karissa, who runs the popular Instagram account The Collins Kids, wrote, “Last night we had a surprise visit from Shaq. He took us to dinner as a family at babes chicken. It was so much fun to just hang out and eat dinner with him.
“And then today!! He started off the day by taking us to the Mercedes dealership to get us a new family 15 passenger van.”

Shaq wasn’t done there.
Karissa continued, “He then took us to dinner at rainforest café where he paid for another tables [sic] entire meal not knowing that they were from out of state and here on missions. And then he tipped out waitress $1000 after her car broke down today.
“And then when he saw my husband’s truck that has been without air-conditioning and heat for a while he took us to a Ford dealership and blessed us with another truck.
“He also spent time encouraging us and loving on our children and speaking life into our family. I am completely lost for words.”
