Shilo Sanders will not be allowed to play the first half of Colorado’s game against Oregon State as a result of a controversial ejection for targeting against UCLA. However, he claims that one of the Pac-12 officials admitted to making the wrong call.

The second-eldest son of Deion Sanders was thrown out of Saturday’s college football contest near the end of the second quarter after laying a huge hit on running back Carsen Ryan. Shilo immediately got up and flexed in the direction of the Bruins’ sideline. As he did, a flag came flying into the picture.

Upon further review, the officiating crew ruled that it was targeting. The team’s second-leading tackler was removed from the contest.

Rob Gronkowski and Richard Sherman did not agree with the call. The former actually said that he would prefer to get hit in such a manner as the ball-carrier.

Robert Griffin III was also very vocal against the targeting decision.

Interestingly enough, Shilo Sanders predicted that this would happen. Colorado State linebacker Henry Blackburn somehow was not ejected for a very dirty hit on Travis Hunter Jr. that lacerated the two-way star’s liver and landed him to the hospital.

When asked about the incident in postgame, Shilo foresaw the future.

If I did something like that, they would’ve kicked me out for sure.

Sure enough, he was kicked out for a hit that was similar in nature to Blackburn’s but far less severe and clean, as opposed to a blatant dirty play. Shilo called it.

Shilo Sanders claims self-admitted wrongdoing!

However, according to the 6-foot-0, 195-pound safety, the officials told him that they made the wrong call. Or, at the very least, Shilo claims that one official admitted to him that his crew made the wrong call.

The ref just said it wasn’t even targeting, bruh.

He was visibly frustrated as he paced the sideline in street clothes after halftime.

Right call or wrong call, the call was made. Targeting was issued.

Shilo will send the first two quarters of this weekend’s matchup on the bench.
