While the WNBA’s rise in popularity has been good for players, it has also had some negative side effects.
On Wednesday, WNBA superstar Sophie Cunningham joined Theo Von on his podcast and revealed that, after her popularity exploded over the past year, she now has a long list of stalkers.
According to Cunningham, the FBI is tracking at least 20 people who are currently stalking her.
“We do have a lot of stalkers. I know I do,” she said. “And like that’s a negative side of things that people don’t think about. And so you do want to feel secure.”
“We’ll have to check if I’m even allowed to say this,” Cunningham said.
“I like have I think 20 I think people kind of that the FBI are watching for me. Me alone”
Cunningham went on to reveal the name of one of her stalkers.
“I don’t know,” Cunningham answered. “I’m definitely not allowed to say that. I know one of them. I mean, he’s locked away now.”
“Actually, this is public knowledge, his name’s Kevin. And the worst part about that, I have a miniature donkey named Kevin. Now, I’m like, ‘S–t, do I need to rename Kevin?'”

The Kevin in question is 49-year-old Kevin Singh, who was arrested earlier this year over serious stalking allegations.

The man is 49-year-old Kevin Singh, who is accused of stalking Cunningham. The alleged harassment dates back to September 2025, when he reportedly delivered a package to the Fever’s arena containing a note and a cologne-scented Guns N’ Roses T-shirt.
Not long after, Pacers Sports & Entertainment issued a cease-and-desist letter to Singh, which led his behaviour to escalate even more when he began threatening the team’s vice president of security and his family.
Singh was then arrested in June and booked into the Marion County jail, where he faces felony charges of stalking and intimidation, with misdemeanor harassment.
