The Kevin Durant to the Warriors rumors are starting to heat up again.
Just last week, Marcus Thompson of The Athletic reported that Warriors players have spoken with Durant about a potential return.

The Warriors superstars have been in conversations with Durant. In addition to catching up, the Hall of Fame-bound peers did entertain the idea of a reunion. It was mostly about the stunning nature of it even being possible. The idea of them playing together again had to seem impossible when Durant left in free agency in 2019. It isn’t lost on them how life has contrived an opportunity for them to come full circle. They see it, like everyone else, and talked about it, like everyone else.
Fox Sports’ Rich Bucher is now saying that Steph Curry has personally reached out to Durant to convince him to return to the Warriors because Curry wants to surpass LeBron James in championships.

While speaking with NBC Sports Bay Area, Curry shut down the offseason rumors and wants to run it back with the team’s current roster.
“The rumor mill and all that stuff is part of the nature of the NBA and league,” Curry told NBC Sports Bay Area. “You take it for what it is. You know how quickly things can change, but I like where we’re at.”
