It’s been a banner year for Stephen A. Smith as far as doing stupid things is concerned, as the analyst has repeatedly shown he gets paid way too much money to talk about things he knows seemingly nothing about.
In recent months, the talking head has:
- Been roasted by the Cardinals for his Kliff Kingsbury take
- Forgotten Drew Brees exists
- Also forgotten Kareem Hunt isn’t playing football
- Shown he knows nothing about mental health issues
- Also proved he knows nothing about football in general
Those are just a few of the many gaffes he’s committed and recently added to a long list of ill-advised decisions when he decided to post a video to Twitter featuring a series of bloopers he made while attempting to shoot a promo filled with his signature catchphrases and gesticulations.

The clip itself is pretty entertaining on its own but the internet quickly took advantage of the fact that he was sitting in front of a green screen and took things to the next level by whipping up some absolutely fantastic videos lampooning the pundit.
Here are just a few of the many highlights.

Putting Stephen A Smith in front of a green screen probably wasn't the best idea, but we had fun with it. pic.twitter.com/ZNCKx17BDU

Despite the fact that Smith seems to have no idea what he’s doing the majority of the time, it’s hard not to believe he knew exactly what he was doing when he decided to give himself the green screen treatment.
I couldn’t be happier that he did.
