Stephen A. Smith is reacting to Kevin Hart’s joke about him.

Two weeks ago, Hart fired a shot at Smith during his roast when he said that the ESPN host was on the Mount Rushmore of racist people who hate the black community.

“Shane (Gillis) is on my Mount Rushmore of racism,”

“My Mount Rushmore of racism, when it comes to hating Black people is Shane Gillis, Kid Rock, Hulk Hogan, Stephen A. Smith. Those are my four people when it comes to hating Black people.”

On Wednesday, an emotional Smith took to YouTube to fire back at Smith, whom he says he considered a friend. Smith said that “it stung” to hear Hart make those comments about

“I thought I had a pretty damn good relationship with Kevin Hart. He’s been on my show on many occasions. I’ve known him for years… Kevin Hart may have been telling a joke… I have an issue at the fact that it came from him… A guy I have a lot of love and respect for… People try to continue this narrative about me that I know is false… It stung.”

“And at a time in my life knowing I’ve spent my life fighting on behalf of, of my community that people try to continue this narrative about me that I know is false, but that nevertheless still hurts to hear out of the mouth of anyone who knows me.”

Smith believes Hart’s joke had something to do with the Democratic Party trying to silence him while he considers running for President.

“And why do I bring up the Democratic Party? Because I know of people who were called by folks in positions of power associated with the Democratic Party for the sole express purpose of silencing me. You’re going to have to do better than that.”
