It was a season to remember for the TCU Horned Frogs. Yes, it didn’t end well, but the Horned Frogs defied all expectations by going 13-2 and playing for a national title, where they were smashed by Georgia.
A big part of that was their great offense, led by quarterback Max Duggan. Duggan, who was the Heisman runner-up, had some good receivers to throw to. None were better than Quentin Johnston.
Johnston was a monster for TCU this year. The 6’4 wideout had 60 catches for 1069 yards and 8 touchdowns this year en route to All-American honors.
Let’s take a look at some highlights.
TCU wide receiver Quentin Johnston has flat-out insane ball skills.
Top-tier deep threat who consistently makes plays even when doubled. He has everything needed to become a high-quality NFL primary WR. pic.twitter.com/6gcAdrtOun

gotta love the chess match in these games
Michigan's defense was much more aggressive coming out of halftime. after a few drives, TCU found a way to get Quentin Johnston a favorable matchup and hit him for the big gain

But, he won’t back next year. The junior announced on Monday that he will enter the NFL draft.

Johnston could be the first wide receiver off the board in April’s draft, and could find his way into the top-ten.
It’s a big blow for TCU, who will now be without Johnston and Duggan for next year as they look to build on their momentum.
