Tom Brady‘s illustrious NFL career is over…right?

The legendary NFL quarterback retired following the 2022 NFL season and said that he was retired for good this time.

But he also retired following the 2021 NFL season, and we all saw how well that went.

Just last month, NFL insider Rich Eisen threw fuel on the fire to the speculation that Brady might yet return.

“Tom Brady may not be done after all. The one place that folks are saying to keep an eye out for is Miami,” Eisen said.

Just days later, New England Patriots broadcaster Scott Zolak told NBC Sports Boston that a return in Miami isn’t out of the question.

“Brady may go to Miami. I think that’s in play, I do,” he said. I think the possibility of him coming out of retirement is definitely 100 percent in play. You can sit there and look at the kitten tweet from yesterday. Don’t buy that,”

But since that time, all hype and speculation over a return has seemingly died down. That is, until Brady himself blew the conversation wide open.

Speaking at the eMerge Americas conference in Miami, Brady was asked about a possible return to the NFL with the Dolphins.

Rather than shut down the rumors, Brady opted to throw gasoline on them.

“I do have some friends on the Dolphins that I really like,” Brady said. “…I root for my friends to do well, and several of them play for Miami.”

Now, Brady didn’t exactly say he was coming back to play for the Dolphins. BUT, he also didn’t shut that talk down. Which you’d think he would do if he didn’t plan on coming back.

Though if he does return, he’ll need to take the job from Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who it appears is headed in the right direction after suffering multiple concussions this past season.
