Aaron Rodgers delivered what will go down as one of the most memorable moments of the 2021 NFL season on Sunday afternoon when he shouted “I own you” at Bears fans after scoring a touchdown.

Everyone that isn’t a Chicago fan seems to have loved Rodgers’ celebration, and that includes Tom Brady.

During a segment on the latest episode of his ‘Let’s Go!’ podcast, Brady reacted to Rodgers’ celebration and very tongue-in-cheek congratulated the Packers QB on becoming an owner of Soldier Field.

“I saw a clip of him really enthusiastically telling the crowd how happy he is to own Soldier Field. That’s really great stuff,” Brady said. “He owns the Bucks now and part of Solider Field. He’s got a great career beyond football.”

Just fantastic stuff from Brady here.

Since inevitably hearing it from Bears fans about how his celebration was ‘disrespectful,’ Rodgers spoke about today’s ‘woke, PC culture.’

“Back when I first got into the league, I feel like trash talk was a little more normalized and you didn’t have to apologize if you said something that offended a few people in a city,” Rodgers said in part.

“I have a lot of respect for the city [of Chicago] and for the sports fans, it’s been a great rivalry over the years, but we have gotten the better of them for a while now. I don’t think I was saying anything that wasn’t necessarily close to the truth.”

“There’s a PC woke culture that exists, and there’s a cancel culture at the same time and it’s based on people’s own feelings of personal miserability or distaste for their own situations or life. Or just the enjoyment of holding other people down under their thumb.”

While Rodgers may own Chicago, Brady owns the entire NFL.
