Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers are starting to gear up for the latest edition of The Match alongside Phil Mickelson and Bryson DeChambeau and in the first press conference for the event, Brady decided to take a jab at the Packers.

With Rodger, Mickelson, and DeChambeau also on the video call, Brady very clearly trolled Green Bay’s not-so-great decision to kick a field goal on fourth down during the NFC Championship game against his Buccaneers back in January.

“I do think you have a partner who would probably like to go for it a little bit more than he has in the past, so Bryson, I’m glad you’re encouraging him to go for it,” Brady said.

Rodgers responded with a smirk, saying ” Well, I don’t usually have the option.”

Tom Brady, not only the greatest quarterback of all time, but also a pretty solid trash talker, too.

Brady and Mickelson are set to team up together and take on DeChambeau and Rodgers at Moonlight Basin in Montana on July 6. Brady and Mickelson teamed up in the most recent Match where they lost to Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning. Brady’s content company, 199 Productions, is reportedly a partner for the live coverage of the event.

While this year’s edition of The Match will be quite a bit different without Tiger Woods’ involvement, it’s clear that Brady still plans on bringing the heat. We should have some pretty strong soundbite between Brady, Rodgers, Mickelson, and DeChambeau, that’s for sure.
