Tom Brady’s Return Is A Death Sentence For The Rest Of The AFC East

Tom Brady is back and even though his debut was against a Browns team that belongs in the LFL, his numbers were impressive: 28-40 for 406 yards, 3 touchdowns, with a 96.3 Total QBR, his highest in a game since Week 8 of 2014. With the exception of Buffalo, who have recently caught fire for their first three game win streak since 2011, the AFC East is a dumpster fire, with both the Jets and Dolphins at a dismal 1-4. As long as the entire Patriots roster doesn’t pull an Aaron Hernandez, it’s almost impossible not to peg New England as a shoe-in for the AFC championship.
