Tommy DeVito‘s agent, Sean Stellato, became an overnight star on Monday when he was seen wearing a pinstripe suit with a fedora and gold chain and suddenly the world realized that Tommy Cutlets had an agent that was just as Italian if not MORE Italian than he was.

I add ‘more’ there because Sean Stellato is about to be a member of the National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame which will cement his place in history.

Riding this wave of fame, Stellato went on Up & Adams this week where he explained the iconic Italian hand symbol ‘🤌 ‘ along with the phrase ‘forget about it’ that’s colloquially pronounced as ‘fuhgettaboutit.’ Here is the video on Instagram, it’s also on TikTok if you’d prefer that.

Sean Stellato says the hand symbol, while shaking one’s hand, translates to “you know, fuhgettaboutit.’ Saying “that means just… hey… It’s a really iconic symbol that (means) ‘hey, I’m talking, you listening?’ It’s just something that’s ingrained. People interpret it multiple ways.”

Stellato went on to add “I heard it last night (where someone said) ‘that’s a gangster move’ and ‘that was a Sopranos move’ and I’m just like no. You know, ‘hey, listen.'”

Sean finished by saying that Tommy DeVito has organized that ‘fuhgettaboutit’ symbol with his linemen, that Tommy has “embraced it.”

100% agreed. Tommy DeVito leaning into being Italian is the best thing to happen to the New York Giants this season.

The Giants are going to have a proper problem on their hands when Daniel Jones returns from his injury next season because the tri-state area has welcomed Tommy Cutlets with open arms in a way that Daniel Jones could only ever imagine in his wildest dreams.
