NBA refs have some explaining to do.
During last night’s Jazz-Suns game Dragan Bender was called for traveling after a steal despite the fact that he was continuously dribbling up court and didn’t appear to travel at all.
Dragan Bender just got called for a travel… while dribbling the basketball.

The Internet was confused and called on for the official NBA refs twitter account to issue a response.

What’s funny is that refs have been pretty loose all season with their interpretations of what is and isn’t a travel these days.
The @OfficialNBARefs explain why this WAS NOT a travel by Bradley Beal… pic.twitter.com/n6LxFxAEUe

1/2..Spoke to an NBA ref on this move “It isn’t a travel. It’s basically a plant foot plus 2 steps to his jump shot. The plant foot is nothing and the 1-2 step after is viewed as legal in the NBA. Bradley Beal,Butler,DeRozan all do the same move”. Cont’dpic.twitter.com/wYHDuHVNRb

It’s hard to care about the NBA these days with terrible calls like that.
