Colorado superstar Travis Hunter landed an early Valentine’s Day surprise from fiancé Leanna Lenee. It was one much more personalized than a bottle of wine or a night out at a fancy restaurant.
Instead, it commemorated one of his top plays of the 2023 season – and Hunter was shocked!
The Buffs took the college football world by storm over the first month of the season, ripping off three straight wins over TCU, Nebraska, and Colorado State.
Hunter was a big part of that early season run, playing unlimited snaps on both sides of the ball.
He best outing of the year might’ve come in the season opener vs. the Horned Frogs. Colorado overcame a late deficit to beat the reigning national runners-up on their home field, officially welcoming fans to the Deion Sanders era.
Hunter recorded a team-high 11 catches in that contest, tallying 119 receiving yards. He also had a crucial interception on defense that prevented a TCU score.
With the Horned Frogs marching towards the endzone, QB Chandler Morris attempted to find his running back slipping out of the backfield.
He didn’t see the Colorado defender lurking at the goal line waiting to make a play.
Hunter broke on the ball just as Morris released it, leaving his feet to make a diving interception.
He got the ball back for his offense, while quieting a raucous TCU crowd.

Not only does Hunter get to see himself in action figure form, but he can also relive the play anytime he wants by simply scanning the barcode linked to the gift.
The couple seems to go all-out on Valentine’s Day each year, and this present might’ve topped them all!
Of course, you’d have to ask Travis personally as he seemed to enjoy a pricey pair of Gucci sneakers gifted by Leanna last year.
Hunter proposed to his longtime girlfriend earlier this month, putting that NIL fortune to good use. She definitely repaid the favor with this awesome gift!
