The US Women’s National Team has found themselves at the center of controversy during the Women’s World Cup.
During their game over the weekend against Vietnam, fans noticed that most of the players on the USWNT didn’t sing during the anthem.
Most of the U.S. Women’s soccer players refused to sing our great national anthem.

The US Women’s Soccer Team hates America, you can see it in their facial expressions and body language.

Several angry American fans are now actively rooting against the US Women’s team during the World Cup.
As an American… I hope the U.S. women’s soccer team gets beat by every other national team they play! The U.S. women’s soccer team IS A DISGRACE!

USWNT defender Naomi Girma responded to the backlash and tried to shoot down the controversy.
“I think when we’re out there, we’re preparing for the game. And that isn’t the focus,” she said. “Ultimately, every player has the choice. I think that’s what I would say.”
