To the Denver Broncos organization, a resume line that reads, “Proficient in rubbing my balls on an unsuspecting trainer” goes a long way in the hiring process. While a junior at Tennessee in 1996, former Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning was reported to the Sexual Assault Crisis Center in Knoxville for pulling down his undies and sitting on a female athletic trainer’s face.

In the most recent dick rubbing hiring, the Broncos recently announced Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Vance Joseph as their new head coach. The 44-year-old began his coaching career as a defensive backs coach at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2002, around the same time the CU was in the center of a messy scandal that included allegations of rape and hiring strippers on the school’s dime for recruiting purposes.

Joseph’s career at CU ended abruptly in 2004 under suspicious circumstances. Those circumstances have been cleared up  and do not paint Joseph in a good light. Two athletic trainers at CU told detectives that Joseph had sexually assaulted them in 2003, but did not press charges. Here’s how the incident unfolded, according to The Daily Camera.

The woman told police that she and her friend were out at what was then The Foundry in downtown Boulder when they saw Joseph, who would have been 30 at the time. Neither of the two had dated him, but the woman said they had socialized with him before in groups.

According to the police report, the woman said Joseph bought them drinks, and that they then went back to a house, where she said they continued to drink, and where they also smoked marijuana.

The woman told police that, at some point, she went to bed, but woke to find Joseph had entered the bedroom, taken off his clothes and gotten into bed with her while he was naked. She said he began “touching her all over with his hands and rubbed his body against her,” according to the police report.

The woman said she pretended to be passed out, and that Joseph eventually left the room.

The next morning, according to the police report, the woman’s friend told her Joseph had done the same thing to her, and that her friend had told him to “get the hell out.”

The woman told police Vance “knew exactly what he was doing,” and added “He’s just a sleazeball.”

Sleazeball? Nice, he’ll fit right in in the NFL.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
