These Gamblers Are Looking At An Insane Payday If The Golden Knights Win The Stanley Cup

Over the weekend, the Las Vegas Golden Knights secured a spot in the Stanley Cup Finals after beating the Winnipeg Jets to clinch the Western Conference Finals in five games. The expansion team— which is basically the NHL’s equivalent of Leicester City— wasn’t expected to do much in their inaugural season, but they quickly proved the haters wrong with their surprising performance on the ice (along with some equally impressive pregame ceremonies).

The Golden Knights were massive underdogs in Vegas heading into the season, and we recently discovered there was at least one person who was in a position to make bank if the team ends up lifting the cup when everything is said and done. However, thanks to the tireless tweeting of Darren Rovell, we’ve discovered a few more people who could make a killing if the Golden Knights pull off their own Miracle on Ice.

On Sunday, Rovell asked his followers to send in any betting slips that were purchased before the start of 2018.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are one win away from making their way to the Stanley Cup Finals and are currently the slight favorites depending on the source, so I’m assuming these sportsbooks are pulling for the Bolts.
