Everyone’s favorite “Where’s Waldo?” character, Connor Stalions, has been found once again. This time on the sidelines during Michigan’s destruction of Notre Dame in 2019.
Why is that significant?
Stalions stands accused of stealing other team’s signals and feeding them to the Wolverines for the past several years – even before he was officially hired to the staff – allegedly giving them an distinct and illegal competitive advantage.
During this particular Michigan game, a 45-14 drubbing, the then 5-2 Wolverines held then 5-1 Notre Dame to just 133 yards in the air on 11-29 passing and just 47 yards rushing on 31 carries on the ground for a whopping total of 180 total yards.
Meanwhile, the Wolverines needed just 14 pass attempts to score those 45 points as they were able to rush for 303 yards on 57 carries that day.
In the resurfaced video showing Stalions on the Michigan sideline (again, before he was hired), he can be seen grinning at Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh at the end of the game like the proverbial cat who ate the canary.
“Guess who I found standing behind Don Brown in the 2019 Notre Dame/Michigan game? You guessed it. Wearing his signature hat, it’s Conor Stallions,” the college football fan who posted the video to X (formerly Twitter) wrote.

Look at how he excited he at the end of the game grinning at Harbaugh! Notre Dame's offense seemingly couldn't run the right play all night. Weird. It was the second lowest offensive output of the BK era. pic.twitter.com/biLbdZiZ61

The video of Stalions on the Michigan sideline during their dismantling of Notre Dame in 2019 has, as of this writing, been viewed over 1.4 million times and produced a plethora of comments.
“There might not be a bigger ‘what the hell happened?’ game that I’ve covered involving Notre Dame than this one,” Pete Sampson, the Notre Dame beat writer for The Athletic, wrote.
“Michigan has been cheating for 4 years now. Finally catching up with them,” read another comment. “@UMichFootball just rescinded Harbaugh’s contract extension.”
